Saturday, June 25th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Walk&Talk NiT/NaT Midterm Luncheon at Entergy Park Waterfall Pavilion

We are only two and a half weeks away from our 2022 Midterm Break. So far, we have offered a total of 70 hours of NiT/Nat Continuing Education. That is a bunch! It will soon be time to take a breath, look back at our accomplishments, look forward to the coming classes/events, and think about the volunteer opportunities ahead. On Saturday, June 25th we will do just that.

Walk&Talk NiT/NaT Midterm Luncheon

9:00 to 10:00 - Walk on the Entergy Park Trails

Meet at the Waterfall Pavilion at 9:00 a.m. for a Discovery Walk along the Entergy Park Trails. Entergy Park is a great place to walk/hike. There are both paved and unpaved trails making it a great place for all ages and abilities.

10:00 to 11:00 - Talk DLAMN Volunteer Opportunities for NiTs and NaTs, Fall Schedule and Hybrid Curriculum (in-person and on-line learning), and DLAMN T-Shirts, or DLAMN Hat for NiTs  

During the second half of the year, we will bring the volunteer opportunities into better focus. When we talk about who we are, the word VOLUNTEER is mentioned multiple times. THIS IS IMPORTANT! PLEASE BE THERE!

We are only halfway through the 2022 curriculum. There are still so many opportunities to learn about nature. We will discuss the coming fall schedule and add some emphasis to the Hybrid Curriculum that is available to all NiTs and NaTs. If you haven’t taken advantage of this so far, you will want to be there for the details.

The DLAMN T-Shirt order has finally arrived. NiTs will be presented their choice of a DLAMN T-Shirt or DLAMN Hat.

11:00 to 12:00 - Luncheon at the Waterfall Pavilion

Join Chef Linda Fleming and Sous Chef Alan Atkins for food and fellowship at the Midterm Potluck Luncheon. Bring your favorite dish/dessert and DLAMN will provide the entrée.
