Woolsey Wet Prairie Fall Event – Volunteers needed

Where:  Woolsey Wet Prairie

 

What:  NWAMN volunteers are needed as team leaders for seed collection and distribution that morning. It would be best to have folks who have participated in previous years, or who have served as nest box monitors for a few seasons. 

 

 

Event Description

Join us for an educational, family-friendly event! Volunteers will sustainably collect
seeds from a variety of native plant species within Woolsey Wet Prairie, rain gardens,
and surrounding areas to be used for stream restoration, rain garden, and other
conservation projects across the Northwest Arkansas region. Wear sturdy shoes and
bring camp chairs and bug spray. Pizza and Drinks will be provided.

9:30 AM - Sign-in, Orientation, & Coffee
10:00 AM - Seed Collection
11:30 AM - Pizza & Restoration Presentation
