Trail Patrol Matney Camp

We'll clear short one mile spur trail leading from Ozark Highlands Trail down to Matney Camp on the White River. Trail is fairly steep, 400' elevation. Rendezvous & park at the Matney Knob trailhead 1 mile south of the White River bridge, then shuttle volunteers to the trailhead. Record your hours Trail Maintenance, sponsor U.S. Forest Service. Invite a friend.

Directions. By car, rendezvous at the Matney Knob trailhead, 15 miles south of Mountain Home library. From Mountain Home, drive SE towards Norfork approx. 15 minutes on either Highway 5 or 201. Before Norfork, turn right/south on Highway 341 (Push Mountain Road) across the White River. Follow 341/Push Mountain Road 1 mile to the first trailhead on the right side of the highway. GPS for Matney Trailhead is N36 12'52", W92 18'29", or 36.214337, -92.308024.

Push Mtn Road (AR Hwy 341), rendezvous at OHT trailhead 1 miles south of Sheid Bridge.
