We are taking a long, slow Wildflower walk through Tingler Prairie in southern MO for June. We will meet at the WalMart parking lot in Mtn Home at its NE corner nearest the carwash business. We will depart at 8 AM to caravan about an hour drive to the prairie. It's mostly full sun so be prepared with hats, sunscreen, light clothing, water to keep hydrated, and lots of bug spray and tick repellant.
Plan on about 4 hours and a lunch at the prairie plus drive time to and from. There are no bathroom facilities and the nearest is in Mtn Home! You shouldn't need a hiking stick but you'll want your camera and maybe a wildflower id book...so many to discover!!
