NCAMN - Gaston Wildflower Meadow Prescribed Burn

Please meet at the meadow at 9:30 to prepare for the burn with a short version of the “Learn to Burn 1” instruction by Calvin Wakefield, AGFC private lands biologist for North Central Arkansas. Calvin will also be coordinating the burn. Please wear clothing made of natural fibers (synthetics melt!), leather boots with fire resistant soles are recommended, bring leather gloves, water and safety glasses. Please bring a metal leaf rake for personal use. Enter volunteer hours as Activity - Natural Area Maintenance, Sponsor - Bull Shoals-White river State Park
