FAMN - Fun Day/Waterfall Hike at Richland Creek

All members, spouses, and significant others are invited to a day filled with fun, food, and fellowship at Richland Creek Campground on Saturday, April
15.

An easy 2 mile round trip hike to potentially see 4 waterfalls will start around 10:30 am. Afterwards burgers and dogs await us at Richland Creek campground. If you want to skip the hike and go straight to the campground and start eating early you can still see at least 2 waterfalls from your car.

Directions: Take Exit 81 (Hwy 7) from I-40 in Russellville, go north to Pelsor, turn right on highway 16 east and go about 9 miles to Ben Hur, then about 1 mile past Ben Hur and turn left on FR # 1205 / CR # 68 (gravel). Go 2.3 miles and you will see Falling Water Falls on your right with a parking area, then continue 7 miles on to Richland Creek campground on your left. Bring your chairs and look for Larry Fliss under the canopy. We will provide food and drinks.

If you are planning to go and have not already done so, please contact Tommy Mebane at: mebanet@hotmail.com so we will be sure and have plenty of food.

Richland Creek Campground is correctly located on Google and is close to Witts Springs.
