Highway 124 Cadron Creek Access (Wilbur D. Brock Bridge)


Directions:

The Event will be at the Hwy 124 Cadron Creek Access, meet at the boat ramp at: 35.380341,-92.283648 (cut and paste coordinates into Google Earth). From Hwy 65 north of Damascus, watch for Sungas Propane on the left, commence north on Hwy 65 for approximately 0.2 miles to the intersection of Hwy 124 on the right. Take Hwy 124 for approximately 6.2 miles to the Cadron ramp access road on the left after crossing the Wilbur D. Brock Bridge over Cadron Creek. From downtown Quitman, turn west on Hwy 124 at the Hwy 25/124 stoplight and proceed approximately 3.5 miles to the Cadron Ramp Access on the right (you will turn before crossing the bridge if coming from Quitman).


Type of Project:

Dan Dawson will be leading a Stream Team Event at the Hwy 124 Cadron Creek access at 0900. This is a new location and will represent the first event at this site.


What to Bring/Wear:

Water shoes/Knee Boots (Critter Collection will require wading, turning rocks and operating a seine net)

Tweezers (with a bright cord attached)

Magnifier (loupe or hand lens)

Hat, sunscreen, towel, etc.
