Jonathan Young, Field Programs Coordinator with Audubon Arkansas has invited our Chapter to assist with seed collecting down at Grandview Prairie in southwest Arkansas.

Jon will most likely bring his Flail Harvester along (which should be interesting). Jon also stated that we can head over to Columbus prairie across the street if we would like to see another location while there; it is a Nature Conservancy property and is a nice Blackland prairie site as well.

This will be a fairly long drive to get there (155 miles from Conway); I have room for 3 folks to ride along and we would have to meet around 0915 at my house to make it there by noon. If you would like to ride or caravan, please contact me by email or text by noon, 16 November.
