Shane Scott, our resident forager and wild food expert, will conduct a class on Arkansas wild edibles. The classroom portion will be held in the conference room of the Mountain Harbor Resort (a map link is below). Following the class and lunch, Shane will lead us on a hike along the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail. Hopefully we will be able to find some of the many wild edibles of the Ouachitas.
The class will begin at 9 AM You will need to bring water, insect repellent, perhaps a walking stick, and appropriate footwear. You will have the choice of eating at the resort restaurant or you may bring a sack lunch. We will attempt to set up carpools as the class date approaches.
