This outing will involve a late fall tour of the Know Your Natives Garden, General Sight-seeing and invasive removal (Mimosa - see link below) at Sid Vogelpohl’s property and off the Magazine Mountain Scenic Byway southeast of Paris, AR. Sid is a long-time member of the Arkansas Native Plant Society (ANPS), author of the “Know Your Natives” articles and host for FAMN educational outings; Sid has written hundreds of detailed write-ups describing native plants of Arkansas, nearly all of which are from his property.
Please wear good walking/hiking shoes, long pants, leather gloves, bring water; bug repellent is optional this time of year.

We will meet at Sid Vogelpohl’s Property south of Paris, AR (GPS Coordinates: 35.275276,-93.694530) at 1:30 PM; physical address is: 2480 South Highway 309, Paris. It is a pretty good haul, but well worth the trip and a beautiful drive!
Carpool/caravan:
Carpool/caravan is recommended as parking is limited at the site. Meet at Robert's house no later than 12:00; please contact Robert the previous evening to coordinate.
