NCA beautify Rim Shoals river trail
About this event
Scenic riverbank trail, basic maintenance & remove invasive plants. Lunch provided by our partner Trout Unlimited. Register by April 21 so TU provide lunch. Master Naturalists will remove invasive plant species e.g. privet & honeysuckle (bush and vining) while TU conducts routine trail maintenance.
Rim Shoals is an easy 3/4 mile river bank track trail including walk-in access to White River anglers. Bring your favorite weeding tool, pruners or loppers & gloves. Log your time as Invasive Species Removal ... sponsor AGFC-NCAMN.
Directions: RimShoals Trailhead is located 5½ miles south of Gassville, at 267 Rim Shoals Camp, on the White River. Turn south on CR 4 or Buford Cutoff, drive 2 miles south, turn right onto Rim Shoals Road (CR 58), drive 1½ mile past railroad tracks, make hard left at Rim Shoals Resort and drive to trailhead at end of this road.
